Nigel joined Toastmasters in October of 2004. In that time he has been Sergeant-at-Arms as well as President of his home club, Plano Talkers. He's also served District 50 as Area 42 Governor which was Distinguished in 2006-2007 and is currently serving as District 50 Public Relations Officer 2007-2008.

During the official visit of International President Johnny Uy, he and his wife was assigned the job of escorting his wife, Irine, around Dallas. He was also award a Governor's Citation for his hard word and dedication to the District

Recently Nigel was Site Chair for the D50 Kick-Off TLI which was used to complete his HPL project.
