Dec 19, 2007 - Get your HPL done!
It's never too early to get your High Performance Leadership Project completed. In fact, why wait until you have your AL-B before starting it?
There are lots of easy ways to get your HPL done in Toastmasters such as being a TLI Site Chair, Spring Conference Chair or a committee related to a conference.
You might want to look outside of Toastmasters, however, and use this as a
project which will serve the community that you live in.
Look and see if there are volunteer organizations in your city. They may have
projects that need to be completed but there's nobody to lead them. This is
where your HPL comes in.
Your city may have tasks that would be suited to volunteers helping and saving money, or look to your job and take on the responsibility of organizing a conference.
Get your guidence committee together and brain-storm with them to come up with further project ideas. By the time you become a District Officer, you may want to have your HPL already completed. It's never too early to start looking for projects.
